A vacancy has arisen for an experienced HR Officer to join the Human Resources Department working at Dagenham.

Reporting to the HR Leader you will be able to work independently to professionally provide a quick and accurate generalist Human Resource service (including processes, policies and systems) to a customer base and transfer HR knowledge to Leaders in support of their operational effectiveness..
Key responsibilities are:
? To ensure that HR policies, systems and processes are adhered to and aligned to the overall direction of the Site. This includes ensuring best practice application of the Performance Management process, ensuring headcount forecasting, approval and tracking processes are adhered to and that effective communication takes place within each area in line with site policy/processes.
? To diagnose people management issues within the business, and lead the development and implementation of local people management solutions to address local needs.
? To support your customer & Site HR teams to ensure the maximum alignment of work/effort in support of business performance, including organisational development solutions.
? To monitor people management statistics (e.g. absence and overtime levels) and work with managers to ensure alignment with policy, and improve ways of working.
? To assist in the development of site-wide people management solutions (policies, processes, interventions) and then champion their implementation within the business.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate the following -
? An advanced knowledge of Employment Law as a minimum.
? Experience of working within a Human Resources department and member of a leadership team.
? An ability to work well under pressure.
? Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
? A degree or equivalent professional qualification would be an advantage.
