International Short Story Competition

We are currently seeking well crafted and original story submissions for our annual International Short Story Competition.

We appreciate that writers love the opportunity to explore with themes, genres and topics, so feel free to express yourself in words. The short story is an amazing medium where moments in time are captured, beginnings are nurtured and ideals scrutinized in depth. Capture the essence of the short story and bring to life your vivid imagination and look at ways to experiment and explore with this unique writing form.

The prizes are ?2,500, ?1,000 and ?500, plus the winners, ten runners up and five highly recommended will be published in Chapter One Promotions anthology.

The entry fee is ?10 per story and the maximum word limit is 2500. All entries must be received by midnight on Wednesday 14 January 2009.
