An industry experienced Business Development / Account Manager is required to join a leading provider of software solutions to the insurance industry.
Predominantly field based, the role will involve travel throughout the UK (75%) and remaining time working from the West London based HQ.
Role responsibility:
- Generating incremental sales of insurance software applications/products to our insurance client base.
- Selling of projects & professional services, and maintaining their profitability.
- Key stakeholder management within each of your allocated clients, through regular review meetings/contact.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:
- 5+ years' sales/account management experience.
- Knowledge and relationships as software solutions provider for the Insurance market.
- Proven track record of growing sustainable revenues within your client base, and proven ability to close high value deals (?5M+).
- Well connected to decision makers in the insurance industry, advantageous.
- Experienced in building relationships at board level, delivering presentations and negotiating at board level.
- Good knowledge of both the IT industry and the Insurance market, will actively keep up to date with changing trends and business drivers.
- Likely to have a degree, or be of equivalent capability.
