Senior Recruitment Consultant (Languages)

The Company:

International Language Communications (ILC Ltd) is an independently owned Recruitment Agency specialising in the recruitment of candidates with language skills. We are looking to continue our expansion and to build on our phenomenal success with the appointment of a Senior Recruitment Consultant with languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish Danish, Dutch, or Finnish) to be based in our offices in central London.

The Role:

To work proactively and intelligently to be able to meet and exceed monthly set targets through business development, account management and sales negotiation. We currently have a warm desk and are looking for someone who can develop that and maximise sales revenue. Main tasks include:

- Generating new business through warm and cold calling as required
- Building relationships with both clients and candidates
- Sourcing candidates from a variety of sources including database searches and advertising ensuring that every requirement is resourced for and filled efficiently
- Writing job descriptions and specifications
- Interviewing candidates through competency-based interviewing techniques, mainly by telephone; arranging and administering appropriate tests / language tests etc

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will be an experienced recruitment professional and is likely to have at least 2-3 years of experience within any sector along with a demonstrable track record of success. You must:

- speak English to native standard
- have at least one other language from: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish Danish, Dutch or Finnish
- have first-rate communication skills both written and orally
- have the ability to negotiate, persuasively and consultatively at all levels
- have a genuine desire to provide 'outstanding' service to both clients and candidates
- be self-motivated, positive, resilient and driven to work towards smashing set targets
- be able to manage high volume recruitment

Salary/Additional Information:

The salary for this position would be up to £25,000 - £30,000 basic; earnings are uncapped but you should earn at least another £20,000 in your first year.
